The Project

This Barrack Point knockdown rebuild delivered a 4-bedroom coastal home that makes the most of its seaside location. Designed around an indoor-outdoor lifestyle, the home centres on a generous alfresco entertaining area flowing out to a swimming pool — the kind of space that gets used every day of the year in this part of the Illawarra.

Two double garages provide ample storage and vehicle space, while an attached studio apartment adds genuine flexibility — currently configured as an Airbnb, it works equally well as a guest suite, teenage retreat or home office.

Design and Finishes

The brief called for a timeless coastal aesthetic rather than a trend-driven design, a home that still looks right in twenty years. Clean lines, durable materials and considered proportions deliver exactly that. Every element was selected to complement the coastal setting and stand up to the demands of seaside living.
